The stunning new Alesis Strike Pro kit shatters all your pre-conceived notions about electronic drums. It combines the feel and familiarity of acoustic drums combined with the versatility and capability of the best electronic drums. These are the perfect drums to move beyond the limitations of a conventional acoustic set, without giving anything up. This guide will instruct and walk you through how to perform a factory reset and how to restore your module to the factory default settings.
Note: The ability to restore your kit to factory defaults will be available for firmware version 1.2 or higher. You can download the latest firmware update by visiting the Strike Pro Kit Product Page.
Performing the Factory Reset
If you need to restore the default presets on the Strike Module, perform the following steps below:
- Turn off the module.
- Press and hold the Stop and Enter buttons while powering up the module. "Resetting Factory Defaults..." will be displayed on the module.
- Wait 5 seconds, then let go of the buttons.
- That's it! Your Strike Module has now been restored to the factory default settings! After performing the reset, give the samples about a minute to reload properly.
Note: Samples and User kits will not be impacted by this procedure since the files are saved on the external SD card.
