The DN-300H will allow you to save up to 20 station presets.
The DN-300H has two sets of analog audio outputs. The XLR audio connections provide a balanced audio output. The RCA connections will provide an unbalanced audio signal. Depending on your external amplification device either of these can be used as a master output.
This USB port on the DN-300H is used for upgrading the unit’s firmware. The “Update/Normal” switch is used to set the mode for the USB connection for the firmware upgrade. For normal operation, this switch should be left in the Normal position. Please visit http://denonpro.com/ for any available firmware updates.
The DN-300H allows you to search stations by program type - Music, News, Economics, Weather, Sports, Educational, Drama, Arts & Culture and Science. The system uses station tags sent by the broadcaster to identify the type of broadcast.
The AM loop antenna can be mounted to a vertical surface or placed on a horizontal surface using the included stand. The FM antenna is a long thin wire. These should be routed to a fairly open area away from interfering devices such as WIFI routers, televisions and fluorescent lighting. Generally speaking, the higher up a radio antenna is routed the better it's reception will be.
The DN-300H includes removable rack ears which are used to mount the unit into a standard equipment rack. This unit is designed to be mounted into a single (1RU) rack space but can also be placed on a surface using the mounted rubber feet on the bottom.
